1.      Len welcomed everyone present.  He talked about his trip to Philmont and the courses he took there; also he related that 28,000 acres burned at Philmont, but nobody was hurt.

2.      Ken started the opening with prayer and then read an e-mail he received titled “What is a Military family worth?”  Everyone wanted a copy and he promised to e-mail it to Len.

3.      Len wanted to recognize Joanne Koonce, our newest Commissioner, but she was absent.

4.      Commissioner Training Topic was “Extravaganza”, taught by Darlene.  She went through the list of things that go in the envelopes to be handed out at Camp Bonner and to find out who was responsible for what.  On August 8th we will get a tent, tables and six chairs from St. Andrew and take to Bonner.

We need all available Commissioners to

help.  Let Darlene know if you are coming

so she can make plans.  Also, let Council

know by August 1 if you are coming so they

will know how much to cook.

Units need to sign up for popcorn!!!
