AWARDS OF MERIT

Neuse Basin District Award of Merit

 The District Award of Merit is a council award presented by districts in the same manner that the Silver Beaver is a national award presented by councils.  Recipients of the District Award of Merit are registered Scouters who have rendered noteworthy service to boys that contributed vitally to the lives of large numbers of boys or to a small group over an extended period of time.  Also, recipients have contributed some service to youth outside of scouting, held a position with corresponding opportunity to render outstanding service beyond the expectation of duty, and have demonstrated a positive attitude toward and have cooperated with the district and council.  The following Scouters are recipients of the Neuse Basin District Award of Merit.
